Cat overpopulation in the Portland metro area can be reduced, and we can do it with your help! The first thing all cat owners and caregivers can do is spay/neuter their cats. Next, find alternatives to letting your cat roam unsupervised.
Why it Matters
Every cat deserves a safe home where they are loved, cared for, and kept free from hazards, yet tens of thousands of stray and feral cats roam our urban landscape, vulnerable to a variety of risks. They are also preying on our native habitat. We seek to address the challenges of cat overpopulation in a way that is both humane and environmentally responsible .
